POKÉMON

You may not know the first thing about Pokémon, you may have seen them on T.V., Oh, I remember, you mean one of those crap Japanese programs that portray us with overly sized eyes? I would answer well; you got most of that right! Even I have to admit, the drawings aren't brilliant, since when do we have eyes like saucers? Their characters look as if they're on drugs! I don’t watch the program, I can't stand it, frankly it's a load of rubbish. What really got me in to Pokémon was the game on the Nintendo Gameboy, I loved it, I got hooked in the first battle, unfortunately the Gameboy AND the Game belonged to my friend! I looked high and low for a way to play this magnificent game! Finally I found something called emulation. Emulation is a software program that allows you to run software code from other machines. In the case of the gameboy, a device is used to Back-up the cartridge into a file to be stored on your P.C. This is called "dumping", once the cartridge has been dumped, a piece of software called an emulator has to be written, these can be found all over the internet, usually for free, it is only the really good ones that are charged for, once you have found a game and an emulator, you are ready to rumble! I usually use an emulator called "Hello Gameboy" this serves well as a decent emulator, it can be found at the bottom of the page! I have also included Pokémon blue there as well to get you started.
